The Culinary World Tour Special runs along the back of Cologne Central Station. Here - like everywhere else in the world - things are a little rougher. The Eigelstein, the former "Chicago on the Rhine", may be getting cleaner and smoother, but it is and remains a lively, multicultural district, full of charm and with many facets. Between the courses, there are short digestive walks with tips on restaurants and shopping opportunities or anecdotes about the Veedel.
Examples: TURKEY: çiğköfte, finger food and a range of fresh starters, CHINA: Noodle show, KOREA: Bibimbab and the traditional rice wine Makoli, NIGERIA: Beef kebabs, Egusi, Yam, Planten and Star beer (depends on customs).
