On German Unity Day, Antonio Di Martino, Julie Klos, and Markus Lehnert explore the questions behind the grand words of our democracy. Songs from different eras confront the challenges of our present.

“Art Among the People—United? Just? Free?” is not intended as a concert with ready-made answers, but rather as an artistic invitation to reflect: on the values that unite us, on the challenges that may divide us, and on the role of art in a free society.
