Künste.Frauen.Netzwerk: 100 Jahre GEDOK
PICK OF THE DAY
You cannot miss this event.
In the organizer's words:
Freshly Pressed – New Literature from the Rhine and Ruhr Regions
Approximately 3,000 women belong to GEDOK, Europe’s largest network of women artists—the Association of German and Austrian Women Artists’ Associations across all art forms, which was founded 100 years ago. Compositions inspired by texts or images are accessible in the anniversary book via sheet music excerpts and QR codes. This evening, too, a creative network will come to life through readings, performing and visual arts, poetry, and music. Among others, composer Anne Krickeberg and flutist Pia Marei Hauser will be performing. Host Michael Serrer will speak with Dr. Patricia Falkenburg from GEDOK.
At the Düsseldorf Central Library, 6:00 p.m. in the Herzkammer.
In collaboration with Literaturbüro NRW e. V. and the Friends of the Düsseldorf Public Libraries.
