cocotá - that's vocalist Fama M'Boup and guitarist Christian Stoltz, who combine Senegalese synth-pop from the 1980s with modern jazz and their own compositions. Their music is a bridge between traditional West African sounds and new paths, creating a captivating soundscape that reflects the echo of interpersonal encounters. The musical conversation oscillates between dynamic flights of fancy and thoughtful surface compositions and digs deep into the everyday life of the audience as a soundtrack.

The freelance dancer and choreographer Kristin Mente combines movement with text in her work. Her performances are characterized by the conscious linking of dance and literary expression. Active in Dresden since 2015, she has choreographed short pieces such as "Gedankenkarussell" and "neu ordnen" and is also a guest dancer at the Semperoper Dresden. In her artistic practice, she explores the connection between dance and language in order to discover complexity in simplicity.
