The Swing Summer Night starts with a dance class by the Hepcats. Under the guidance of professional dance instructors, you can shake a leg yourself on our stage during a free introductory course. The Hepcats are an enthusiastic swing dance school and part of the "Dresden-Hepcats e. V." association.

Elegant gentleman style and the hottest music of the Golden Twenties: "The Swingin' Bluebirds" Welcome to the era when crazy party chickens in fringed dresses and feather tiaras shredded the ballroom floor to Charleston & Co. Welcome to Dresden's most authentic 20s orchestra "The Swingin`Bluebirds".

The Palais Sommer is the big open-air festival in Dresden. It combines music, art, dance, yoga, workshops, literature, gastronomy and much more. Free admission.

In 2026, the Palais Sommer will take place on Dresden's Neumarkt from June 20 to July 26. Afterwards, the daily yoga program will continue in Alaunpark until 30 August. A total of around 200 events are planned.

Sun loungers and tables can be reserved in advance.
