In July, the Kunstspäti invites you back to the Wallraf - and for a very special reason: the Impressionist masterpieces from the Swiss Museum Langmatt in Cologne are on display for the first time! Due to the renovation of the Art Nouveau villa in Baden near Zurich, this important collection is making a stop at the Wallraf and will enter into an exciting dialog with the museum's own treasures. An evening full of Impressionism awaits you with short guided tours, a DJ set in the museum foyer and a quiz about Monet, Renoir & Co. Of course, there will also be cool drinks for a relaxed evening at the museum. Come along and experience the "Swiss Treasures" in a unique atmosphere!
Please note that the number of participants per tour is limited to a maximum of 25 or 15 people. Registration takes place on site in the museum foyer - 10 minutes before the start of each tour. Just look out for the sign saying "Meeting point".
As places are limited, it may unfortunately not be possible for all those interested to take part in a tour if there is a large number of people. We ask for your understanding in this case.
You can obtain an overview of all guided tours directly from the museum.
What is an art späti?
Since October 2015, jungekunstfreunde and job&kunstfreunde have been offering the Kunstspäti, an event format that allows our guests to visit the museums after regular opening hours. Once a quarter, usually on the third Thursday of the month, we alternate between the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum and the Museum Ludwig from 18:00 - 22:00. Our Kunstspätis offer a varied program of short guided tours and hands-on activities, as well as drinks and music in the museum foyer.
Kunstspäti is sponsored by Media Broadcast and VAN HAM Kunstauktionen
We expressly point out that photos will be taken for social media during our events. If you do not wish to be photographed, please contact us directly or raise an objection afterwards via email to: job@kunstfreunde.koeln
