Kunstspäti: Para*doxa. Körper – Identität – Roni Horn

Under the title "Give Me Paradoxe or Give Me Death", the Museum Ludwig is showing Roni Horn's art in an extensive solo exhibition until August 11. As a kind of further development of the famous words of freedom fighter Patrick Henry "Give me Liberty, or give me Death!", Roni Horn emphasizes her affinity for everything paradoxical. To this end, she works with dualistic concepts in her works, tells of continuities and plays with contradictions that question the status quo. We would like to find out exactly what this means together with you at our next Kunstspäti am.

Inspired by the great exhibits in the exhibition, you can look forward to guided meditations, a silent discussion and other special activities in the foyer in addition to the varied guided tour program. Over a cool drink, you can make new contacts or meet up with old acquaintances - a DJ will provide the right beat.

What is an Kunstspäti?

Since October 2015, jungekunstfreunde and job&kunstfreunde have been offering the Kunstspäti, an event format that allows our guests to visit the houses after regular opening hours. Once a quarter, usually on the third Thursday of the month, we alternate between the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum and the Museum Ludwig from 18:00 - 22:00. Our Kunstspätis offer a varied program of short guided tours and hands-on activities, as well as drinks and music in the museum foyer.
