Film Synopsis:
Youssef, Yanis, Luca and Annabelle are students who want to organize the first LGBTQIA* Pride in a Parisian suburb. In order to do so, they have to go to a few doorsteps, confront ignorant radio presenters and repeatedly answer the question of whether the banlieue is the right place for their project. The four enthusiastically stick to their plan and not only want to break down prejudices against queers, but also the stigmatization of the residents of Saint-Denis. It seems no coincidence that the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in New York coincides with Pride. A portrait of four charismatic activists who are pursuing their political cause with pride, commitment and humor. Selia Fischer
