Winter is here! Can you hear the warm campfire crackling already? On 08.11. it will finally be lit again at King Georg. The musical fire accelerants on this evening are these great artists:
With a guitar around his neck and tearing down musical genre boundaries, Wuppertal's Jan Röttger combines wild acoustic pop with emotional self-reflection, singer-songwriter melancholy with punk attitude and vocal passion. Firmly anchored in the artistic environment of his hometown, the singer has made a name for himself in recent years with countless concerts and his debut album "Present - Future - Anarchy" (2014) - thanks to songs that retain their very own inimitable character despite the classic combination of guitar and vocals.
Jacky Bastek is a German singer-songwriter and fingerstyle guitarist. Through virtuoso guitar playing, self-therapeutic narratives, and genre pigeonholes thrown overboard, Jacky creates her own world of sound, armed with progressive and percussive varieties, dedicated to "genre-hopping". Classical music, jazz, metal, folk; different styles now share an acoustic guise. Her only companions: an acoustic guitar and her voice. The colorful variety of sounds that ultimately reaches the listener quickly makes him forget that there is only a young woman in front of him.
Born at the end of the 80s, raised in the 90s and influenced by the music of the noughties, Max Scheer is an artist who unites these eras in a wide variety of styles. Influenced by the music of the Goo Goo Dolls, Lifehouse, Alanis Morissette, Matchbox 20 but also icons such as Bruce Springsteen or John Mellencamp, he mixes everything with a pinch of country, rock and folk, creating a sound that is rarely heard today. Handmade and authentic, the singer and songwriter presents himself from all sides.
