Lernviertel Freising - Kennst Du´s schon? Vorstellung und offene Runde

In the organizer's words:

What is the Freising Learning Quarter - and how will it change our urban space? In an open fishbowl discussion, we will present the project "Freising Learning Quarter - Education on the Move", a project candidate of the International Building Exhibition (IBA) Munich, and get into conversation with you. Together we will discuss how schools can be better networked with each other, how sustainable mobility around educational locations can be achieved and what opportunities a learning district offers for Freising. All interested parties are invited to join in the discussion and contribute their perspectives.

With the project "Lernviertel Freising - Bildung beWEGt", the district of Freising is developing a networked educational district of the future around the new vocational school center. The project is part of the International Building Exhibition (IBA) Munich Metropolitan Region, which highlights innovative projects relating to the mobility of tomorrow. The aim is to link the existing schools more closely together and create a lively learning district that brings together education, exercise and sustainable mobility. A green boulevard, safe routes and a new bus stop are intended to better connect the district and promote climate-friendly routes to school.

At the information stand, we will provide insights into the plans and look forward to discussions and ideas with all visitors. Meet us on: Sunday May 10 from 14:00 to 18:00 or Tuesday May 12 and Friday May 15 from 16:00 to 19:00.
