Lesung im Museum: Sherlock Holmes und das Wasser des Lebens
In the organizer's words:
In September 2026, it’s that time again: The English master detective Sherlock Holmes, together with his friend and chronicler John H. Watson, will solve a thrilling case at the LWL Museum of Archaeology and Culture in Herne. Dr. Alexander Berner, curator at the Ruhr Museum in Essen and a lover of obscure literature, will throw himself wholeheartedly into reading from the duo’s new cases in the museum’s permanent exhibition in Herne, providing the audience with excellent entertainment. This story takes the two protagonists to Scotland. There, a whiskey producer receives an anonymous letter threatening his life. Holmes and Watson try to prevent the worst from happening. During a boozy whiskey tasting, Watson (!) solves the case, but unfortunately, he has forgotten the solution the next morning (and has a terrible headache).
