Love, Faith, Scorn Short stories by Jan Off:
Encounters with cops, Nazis and the gun lobby. On LSD at the ski marathon, at the pool with Charles Bukowski, dressed with swimming ring and slippers at the entrance of the KitKatClub finally again short stories from the pen of Jan Off. Sometimes almost oppressively serious, sometimes screamingly funny. But always wonderfully weird and, as usual from the Hamburg resident, written with a lot of wordplay and a desire for escalation. As a bonus track, the long-missed second part of the scene's bestseller "Vorkriegsjugend" (pre-war youth) was previously only available as a long-playing record, but is now finally available on paper. Plenty of reading material, then.
