The author courageously exposes her emotional wounds and provides an insight into the everyday lives of Black women in moving short stories. Among other things, she raises an issue that is still denied: Everyday racism and microaggressions. Readers are invited to recognize racism, raise their voices against it and make a statement. "Meine Haut packt aus" is also an empowering book whose words will resonate in the mind for a long time to come.

"Meine Haut packt aus" is regularly used within the framework of Schule ohne Rassismus -
School with Courage and is used in many schools, universities and cultural
