In 2014, Pasing artist Martin Blumöhr created the mural "Tunnelblick" in the underpass on Herrmann-Hesse-Weg. To mark this anniversary, the exhibition "Glowing Walls" will be held at the Pasing City Library from May 27 to June 7. In addition, images of other murals by the artist will be on display on large-format illuminated walls in the entrance area of the city library.
The artist is known for his unusual series "Public Viewing". He studied at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts, is a master student and was an assistant to the internationally renowned surrealist Ernst Fuchs in Vienna. For "Public Viewing", he designs large-scale mural art projects in public spaces, such as the 300m² mural "Niwenhaus" or a 20m high rainbow flower in Giesing on the central ring road as a symbol of tolerance and diversity of form. Martin Blumöhr lives in Pasing.
The finissage will take place on June 7 in the presence of the artist.
