In the organizer's words:
Due to the great success of the Beijing and Xian lecture, today we are traveling to the two port cities of Qingdao and Chongqing. Qingdao is the former German colony with its brewery founded in 1903, which brewed beer according to the German purity law, Tsingtao beer. The city center of Qingdao is still reminiscent of a small German town. The megacity of Chongqing, with its immense size and dynamism, lies at the end of the 3 Gorges Dam, from where the cruise ships depart.
After the lecture there will be time for questions or a cozy get-together.
