Lichterfest Fredenbaumpark

On 12 September, Fredenbaumpark will become a glowing meeting place for the whole family: the 2026 Festival of Lights invites you to an atmospheric late summer evening with music, light art and a colorful program for all ages - with Free admission!

Live music, hands-on activities and imaginative walk acts provide the best entertainment on several stages and throughout the park area. There is a wide range of activities for children with a craft station, carousel, magic show and clown.

Program highlights:

- Stage at Platanenplatz: live music with interval talk

- Pop party at the music pavilion

- Magic show & mobile magic

- Walk acts: Stilt figures

- Participatory artistry around a scaffold

- Fire show as the crowning finale at around 22:00

- Lighting: Trees in light design, numerous fairy lights

- Gastronomy: Hearty, sweet and everything in between - for every taste
