The Radio Field

Already the debut 'Simple EP', which Lars (you know him from the institutional Düsseldorf band Subterfuge) recorded all by himself, was terrific, now finally comes the first album 'Don'ts And Dos'. The ten pieces recorded in the Domblick Studio of bassist Christoph in Cologne and refined with some prominent guests (Robert Stadtlober, Stefanie Schrank, Phantom Handshakes, Bukahara) are hits through and through! THE RADIO FIELD: What started as a lockdown home recording project by Lars [Subterfuge] has now grown into a passable band of old acquaintances by Christoph Schneider [Klee, Clayton Farlow, Soccer], Philipp Breuer [Pale] and Mark Specht [former Subterfuge]). Don'ts and Dos is their debut album, which will be released on August 25th on Subjangle (South Africa) and Less Records on LP. CD and digital, distributed by Cargo Records.

"Making the world a little bit better with every chord", has always been the credo of the married duo. And even some strokes of fate could not stop the two from this intention.

Unbelievable, but true: Only three weeks after a leg amputation, singer Sarah stood (ok, sat) on stage again and gifted the audience with her positive energy and joy of life...
With their intimate mix of singer-songwriter, country, folk and pop, which they themselves call "Dreamericana" or simply "Singersongwritercountryfolkpop, Sarah & Steffen once again set out to spread good cheer and touch hearts with their music. Sometimes dreamy, sometimes driving guitars, paired with two-part harmony vocals and the clear as a bell voice of front woman Sarah, which sometimes reminds of Kate Bush, merge on stage to the unmistakable Mrs. Greenbird sound.

Genuine, lovingly handmade music for the soul, which goes directly through the ear into the heart. You can hardly experience artists much closer and more authentic. And anyone who has seen Mrs. Greenbird live knows that there is always a good dose of humor on stage. Classic storyteller music for nostalgia fans, inspired by the great heroes like Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Dolly Parton, Simon & Garfunkel and Joni Mitchell. At times it also sounds a bit like Angus & Julia Stone, so they say.

They also have their new album "Love You To The Bone" in their luggage, which they realized with the help of their loyal fans. A retrospective journey through more than 10 years of band history with completely new and newly interpreted songs from their debut album.
