LILOU:
Lilou's vocals are clear. Her voice settles comfortably warm over dark piano, synth dabs and guitar sounds with long sustain. Her vivid narratives stimulate the listener's own imagination with pictorial language without overshadowing the music - a rarity in German-language pop. Sometimes a dense web of moon and tides serves as a metaphor around a relationship between two, in other cases she practices social criticism. In keeping with the music, she herself reveals edges: In the "Volksstimme" she was described as a "magical being from the world of German pop." For all the dreaminess that is audible in the music, there is a strong personality behind it, with a willingness to rock the boat. The Cologne-based musician is a founding and board member of the non-profit association "MusicNRWwomen." "The association is committed to the visibility of FLINTA* in the music industry," Lilou explains. She acts as co-producer of her music, with a clear vision for the outcome. Emotionally, her pieces leave the effect to the listener, not settling between almost autumnal comfort and friction. She values the limbo and the possibility of being surprised by experiences, "I once read, 'No one has come back from the moon the way they left the earth.' ' That's also one of the things I like about touring - a lot of things turn out differently than you imagined beforehand." Their stories emerge from that drive.

Phil Young:
The fact that his parents told him as a child to learn an instrument has made him what Phil Young is today: a singer songwriter who writes his songs on both his guitar and piano and performs them on stage.
With more than 500 concerts since the beginning of his career, Phil is not only at home on several stages in Germany. Also in Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands and England he could already gain experience on the stages and streets of these cities.
Various support gigs, among others for the British musician Rhys Lewis, opened the gates to the British Isle for him.
His own genre "Modern Vintage" contributed to this. This was particularly well received by the British audience, which is accustomed to quality. With sounds inspired by greats like James Bay and the Beatles, blurring the boundaries between soul, Britpop and folk, Phil was able to sweep the audience away again and again. His songs sound modern, but at the same time always carry a touch of nostalgia. An apparent contradiction, which combines in the music to a unique experience and develops its own typical sound.
The result: genuine feelings and a large portion of authenticity that speak from Phil's soul and lyrics that make the songs emotionally versatile and bring the listener together with his own emotional world. Lyrics about heartbreak join memories of past moments of happiness and sadness and offer insight into the inner life of a musician who not only carries away on piano and guitar, but reaches the listener directly with his soulful voice.
Those who like the stirring sounds on record will love them live - because Phil is at home on stage and finds the connection to his audience best in direct exchange.
