All aboard! Ms. Höpker climbs onto the floating harbour stage!

Singing together with her, with a view of the cathedral, makes every evening in the Rheinauhafen a real highlight of the season for our guests and for us. That's why, after the successful double show in June, we're treating ourselves to another one on September 7 and 8, 2024.

Mrs. Höpker invented it. Out of pure joy in music and singing with like-minded people, the professional musician from Cologne developed a new event format in 2008 and aptly named it "Frau Höpker bittet zum Gesang". Since then, the singer and pianist has been delighting an ever-growing audience with a musical singing experience that is more than "just" singing together and is second to none. The secret lies in the artist's inimitable blend of skill, creativity, charisma and intuition.

No two evenings with Ms. Höpker are the same: the music titles are always individually and lovingly put together by her. Whether pop songs, hits, folk songs or evergreens - Ms. Höpker's repertoire is almost inexhaustible. When she sings live at the piano, the audience sings along with her enthusiastically through the decades. The lyrics are projected onto a screen for all to see and a powerful choir is formed in no time at all.
