With “LOCALS.hosted by Freddy,” Freddy Schilling is launching a series of exhibitions featuring local artists. Our goal: to bring art to life in places where people naturally come together.

Since the opening of our Ehrenfeld location in 2025, we’ve been providing a platform for local artists. Works by artists includingSIMBA,Stefan Braunbarth,Barney, andNANEhave already been on display at Freddy Schilling—accompanied by live painting sessions and special opening nights.

WithLOCALS.hosted by Freddy, this commitment now has a permanent home. The format focuses not only on the artworks but also on the people behind them. At its heart is a specially developed video installation in which the artists themselves talk about their work, their motivation, and their creative process.

APEK.ONE kicks off the series.

At the opening onFriday, July 3, 2026, APEK.ONE will create a mural live in the restaurant. Visitors can witness the creative process, discover the new video installation, and meet the artist in person. The first 50 guests will receive a welcome drink.
