At the Wednesday ritual of literary writing at the KHM: Birgit Kempker is a guest in Cologne and also at our Lunch Lecture on the occasion of the Kempker Festival on her 70th birthday. She will be presenting "Heilig Blut" by Gisela Elsner - a title that was only published in Russian translation during the author's lifetime. The German first edition followed posthumously, on Elsner's 70th birthday. That fits perfectly!
