M. Walking On The Water are a "musical legend" and were next to Phillip Boa and Poems For Laila the independent greats of the German scene of the 80s. Especially their live concerts were a "must go" for great atmosphere and often ended after well over two hours of high spirits in endless train calls. Proof of this were many sold-out tours of the band in Germany and Austria over the years. After nine albums and 15 years on tour, the Mʼs paths scattered to the winds at the end of the 90s. Singer and guitarist Markus founded "Jansen" and makes theater music, singer and accordion player Mike recorded two records with "Gloss" and restored old sailing ships, drummer Martell toured with Dick Brave and published his first book "Unverarschbar", Axel traveled through China with James Last and provided half of Germany with violin sounds, bassist Konrad finally founded a web agency and played jazz. At an anniversary of their old Krefeld pub, all of them found themselves on the same stage for the first time, arranged by lighting woman Sigi, and spontaneously played a legendary concert. Already at the first sound of "Party in the Cemetary", "Rosemary" or "Poison" the old magic was there again, as if it had never been gone. So they met again more often and occasionally played a few concerts, but still without working towards a new release. In 2020 they met again and again in Jansen's "Dachapparat" studio and started with the sessions for an album. The lightshow was light bulbs on poles attached to windshield wiper motors - class! from the: Rolling Stone Online Forum And now the time has come. There are shows again - take the opportunity and be there - it's not about contracts and some record promotion, only about music and rock and fun. A concert can't have a better foundation. And we can really say from experience: A M. Walking concert is great. The music is full of joy and after now eleven albums and more than hundred songs in the repertoire there is a real "Best Of" after all these years. Live, an M.
