Almond Biscuits and Red Earth (25 min.) is a documentary about the encounter with Doña Quiteria, Servilia and their companions, women from Garafía, a rural area of the Canary Island of La Palma, who have spent their entire lives cultivating this land with much love.

The camera witnesses their poetry and joy as they bake cookies in an oven house full of stories. The women take us on a journey into the past to an oven hidden in the ravines and tell us how life on the land has changed over the years.

The film is accompanied by a booklet with stories of the encounters the artists had during their stay, as well as some Super8 films developed with natural materials harvested there.
