Maracatu Munique | Sidewalk Cultures Festival
In the organizer's words:
The Munich-based percussion band performs both the traditional maracatu “Baque Virado” of the well-known Nações from Recife and Olinda, as well as “Baque Livre.” Afro, funk, and original compositions round out their diverse repertoire… as colorful and varied as the Brazilian musical culture of northeastern Brazil.
Maracatu Munique stands for and promotes tolerance, acceptance, and peace.
