German premiere
Someone has written that there is an unbridgeable gap between what once happened and how it appears to us today - shrouded in a strange unreality. Marco D'Agostin's choreography The Years is an attempt to bridge this gap: The dazzling story of a unique performer on the Italian dance scene invites us to play with our own memories. With Marta Ciappina, we embark on a journey that oscillates between the present, the moment of performance and the past, in a web of comings and goings that blurs stories, songs and memories of an unrepeatable romantic encounter.
The shadow of a novel slowly settles over the stage and the audience with the invitation to write it together: A work with a hundred hands that encourages us to cross our ruins and look upwards.
Duration: 55 min.
In Italian with German surtitles.
