MATTHEW MOLE

Matthew Mole is a platinum-selling singer-songwriter from South Africa. His unique sound began as a perfect, versatile blend of folk with electronic influences. Matthew writes all of his own music, including three full-length albums and several B-side EPs.

Matthew’s debut album, “The Home We Built,” was released in 2013 and made him the first South African artist ever to debut at No. 1 on the iTunes charts in South Africa. His second album, “Run,” was released in 2016 and debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes charts. His third album, “Ghost,” was released in 2019, also debuted at No. 1 on iTunes, and won two South African Music Awards in the categories “Best Pop Album” and “Record of the Year.”
Since then, Matthew has released several singles, with one of his most recent releases, “I’m With You,” being nominated for “Record of the Year” at the SAMAs. With 7 SAMA nominations and 2 SAMA awards, Matthew has played at most of South Africa’s major festivals, supported international bands such as Bastille, Of Monsters And Men, and The Fray, performed on international stages in the U.S., Thailand, and Russia, and completed three extensive headlining tours across Europe, including the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, France, and Belgium.
