MEGAN MORONEY grew up in ahouseholdinfluenced by Americana, Southern rock and classic country music and learned to play the piano at an early age .During her freshman year at the University of Georgia, she had the opportunity to support Chase Rice at the legendary Georgia Theatre, which inspired her to write her first original songs. After moving to Music City in 2020, she released her first single "Wonder" in 2021 and released her debut EP "Pistol Made of Roses" in the summer of 2022. In September of the same year, she landed a viral hit with the single "Tennessee Orange", which was quickly streamed over 150 million times worldwide and went platinum in April 2023. MORONEY was also included in CMT's "Next Women of Country Class of 2023" and won her first CMT Award for "Breakthrough Female Video of the Year". In May 2023, the artist released her debut album "Lucky", which reached the top 40 of the US Billboard 200 and demonstrated her ability to combine modern language with classic arrangements.
