Messewanderung vom Bahnhof Deutz in den Skulpturenpark

Trade fair walk from Deutz station to the sculpture park

Werkbund exhibition, ART COLOGNE and gamescom - Cologne is a trade fair city. We start at Deutz station. We walk through MesseCity to the Rheinhallen with the striking exhibition tower. Right next door is the Staatenhaus. We meet the architect Frei Otto at the Tanzbrunnen. The Rheinpark has already hosted the Federal Garden Show twice. How did they shape the urban landscape of Cologne? We continue over the Katzenkopf to Mülheim harbor and back to the Zoo Bridge. We take the cable car across the Rhine to Riehl. Passing the zoo and Flora, we reach the sculpture park - an exciting conclusion to our trade fair walk.

• Length: 8 km (approx. 4.5 hours with a break)
• Start: Deutz/Messe station (KVB lines 1, 3, 4, 9)
• Destination: Cologne Zoo/Flora (KVB line 18)
