Somewhere between dark romanticism and atmospheric synthesizer soundscapes, driving beats meet two rough, echoing voices that awaken a longing for love in the emptiness of our existence with bittersweet melancholy. Comparisons to Edwin Rosen, Henning May or Ennio are easy to make, but MilleniumKid and JBS are not just another two representatives of Neue Neue Deutsche Welle, but manage to give their sound an edgy, hypnotic independence. MilleniumKid from Giessen and JBS from Ibbenbüren met via Discord and now form one of the most exciting collaborations in the German-speaking music scene: their joint single "Unendlichkeit", released via Warner Music, went viral this summer and climbed to number 34 in the singles charts, graced the cover of the Wilden Herzen playlist for weeks and now has over 21 million streams - just on Spotify. In 2024, we can look forward to the long-awaited live debut of the two talents, in April they will go on UNENDLICHKEIT TOUR 2024.
