String orchestra works partly with electronics or percussion by Malin Bång, Gordon Kampe, Eivind Buene and Claude Vivier will be heard in this concert. This will be the first time the MKO has played under the baton of conductor Lin Liao.

Works:
Claude Vivier (1948-1983): Zipangu for string orchestra (1980).
Malin Bǻng (*1974): Shin-Shinai for two percussion and string orchestra (2015)
Gordon Kampe (*1976): remember me for strings and live electronics (2019)
Eivind Buene (*1973): Slow and languishing for string orchestra (2003)
