raditionally, the Senftöpfchen invites its audience on the 1st of Advent to get in the mood for the pre-Christmas season with songs and texts.

The cabaret duo, Monika Kampmann and Ingrid Ittel-Fernau, give views and thoughts of children, young people and adults in our city. The texts and songs go to the heart and invite you to sing along, whether in Cologne dialect or in High German.
Far away from maudlin Christmas clichés, Monika Kampmannn and Ingrid Ittel-Fernau direct their attention to the true values of the Christmas message: despite everything, making peace wherever possible.
