Moritz is not a rapper, but neither is he a classic singer-songwriter. Like a Gen-Z version of mid-90s Beck, he takes influences from hip-hop, indie rock and electro to create his own style that doesn't fit easily into the old pigeonholes. After a period in Andalusia, he immersed himself in the emerging rap and trap scene in Berlin, where he became friends with Longus from BHZ. After a joint track, Moritz now sings exclusively in English. Successful songs followed and the record industry took notice of him.
