Traditional Korean dances have their origins in ancient shamanistic rituals and today range from folk dance to newly created and contemporary dance.

"Seeds and Roots" aims to provide insight into the roots of K-pop and K-culture and their plurality. In search of their roots, the artists*, who are now already in the 2nd and 3rd generation living in Germany, deal with the Far Eastern dance and movement philosophy, the sound harmonies and rhythms and thus give the continuation of the traditions a new future.

An eventful evening not only for K-culture experts, but also for those who have become curious about this culture through the Hallyu wave. Traditional aesthetics meet new interpretations and contemporary influences, and exciting insights into the connections between transcultural developments are offered. With Korean food, the evening offers the full range of Korean culture for the eyes, ears and palate.
