All you want to do is shoot an erotic auteur film in the French provinces, far away from modern civilization, and then this: the actors get lost in the forest and turn into zombies, the director mysteriously disappears and is found as an embalmed corpse. An inspector is called in to shed light on the thicket, one who is particularly interested in the sexual preferences of the interviewees. And the cameraman travels to Mexico to fulfill the director's last wishes. Sounds strange? It is, and one of the most original, imaginative and stimulating films of the year.

With a sexually diverse and international team, Valentin Merz has made an immoderate, polymorphously perverse horror-post-punk comedy about filmmaking.
