The exhibition "Nights. Club Culture in Munich" takes its visitors on a foray through Munich's nightlife. Especially in Munich, the city of high culture and fine arts, the supporting role of this subculture is often underestimated and receives too little attention. With this cultural-historical exhibition, the Munich City Museum casts a spotlight on the Munich night and illuminates club culture as an important component and social catalyst of this city. Fascinating objects, atmospheric installations and photographs from eight decades document nightlife from the post-war period to the present and bring Munich's club culture to life.
