Nearly Close Enough to Kiss No. 7

In the organizer's words:

From May 28 to June 6, TNT's performance festival "Nearly Close Enough to Kiss No. 7" invites you to rediscover Marburg! In its seventh edition, the festival leaves a temporary theater space and transforms the route between the Nordstadt and the Altstadt into a one-and-a-half-hour open-air course.

What you can expect: Every evening, the audience will parade through the city together with a marching band from the station district. At five different stations - including empty stores, special architectural locations and often overlooked squares - eight artists will present 15-minute performances from the fields of dance, theater and performance.

Under the direction of Kristin Gerwien and Rolf Michenfelder, the public space becomes a stage. The concept of revitalizing the Nordstadt axis through interim artistic use was awarded a prize in the state competition "Ab in die Mitte" in 2026!

Experience eight evenings full of contrasts, where the boundaries between art space and everyday city life become blurred.

Dates: May 28 to June 6, 2026 (with the exception of May 31 and June 1)

Start: Every evening at 7 pm in front of Bahnhofstraße 21 (opposite Aroma-Bistro & Eisbar)
