Anke Buettner, Director of the Monacensia, reports on the opportunities for participation and the joy of new social and cultural relationships through the repositioning of her institution.
Digitality, participation and diversity are issues that cultural and educational institutions have to deal with today. What hurdles do these current processes of change encounter in the everyday life of the institutions and the people who meet there? The Monacensia - which describes itself as the "literary memory of the city" - is facing up to this change with regard to its audience, its collection profile and its working methods.
