In the organizer's words:
"What if you weren't you at all, but just the sum of your parents, teachers, religion, Instagram quotes and a bad-tempered algorithm?" Welcome to Nikita Miller - the only person trying to understand his existence while the audience watches him fail.
Nikita was born in Kazakhstan, came to Germany with his parents at the age of five and now mixes the best of German and Soviet. His experiences here as an assembly line worker, fitter, pizza delivery boy, newspaper delivery boy, doorman, caster, cabinet maker, media designer, declutterer, kickboxer, waiter, janitor, cleaner, bartender, painter and studied philosopher certainly help him. He asks questions that give most people a migraine at the third word: What is reality? Who created us? Are we living in a simulation or just in Monheim am Rhein? And if the Big Bang really does explain everything - why does it sound like an excuse?
Between fantasies of omnipotence and childhood traumas, Nikita goes on a journey through the part of the brain that is usually reserved for nightmares. He asks whether God is perhaps simply a placeholder for loneliness. Whether faith also works when you are the only one who still believes in it. And whether you are really still "free" when the navigation system in your car knows more about you than your own mother.
"Natural Born Miller" is not therapy, it's not an event for nerds and it's not a spiritual awakening. It's a comedy show about everything you shouldn't think about if you want to be able to function the next day.
