Nordstadt Together – One Day, Many Highlights

On July 11, 2026, the harbor district on Speicherstraße will transform into a lively gathering place for the entire city. Mayor Alexander Kalouti invites everyone to experience the diversity and community spirit of Nordstadt.

Look forward to a colorful program featuring live music, hands-on activities, shows, culture, harbor tours, a “Market of Opportunities” with many interactive areas, games and activities for children, as well as a variety of culinary offerings and countless opportunities to discover, connect, and enjoy.

A special highlight this year takes you right out onto the water: the Santa Monika will take you right into the heart of harbor life. The sightseeing cruises offer unique views of the harbor and add a truly memorable experience to Nordstadt together.

The afternoon (2–6 p.m.) offers a colorful program for all age groups:
Games, sports & fun · Cruises on the Santa Monika · Creative hands-on activities · Kids’ Olympics & games · Infotainment · Magic & acrobatics · Dance · Guided tours of the harbor area · and much more

In the evening, the stage program (6:30–10 p.m.) with live musiccreates a festival atmosphere and a lively finale at the Dortmund Harbor.

Live on Stage
Tanzorchester Schmidt (6:30 p.m.):
The Schmidt Dance Orchestra is an energetic live band that creates a great atmosphere with its diverse repertoire ranging from swing to pop and dance music. With their captivating stage presence, they turn every event into a giant dance floor.

NIDOO (8:00 p.m.):
NIDOO is a German R&B and soul artist from Dortmund. Her sound is deeply rooted in the emotional tones of 2000s R&B and blends elements of soul, hip-hop, and pop. With her modern sound and soulful voice, she is gaining increasing international attention.

Walking on Rivers (9 p.m.):
The Dortmund-based indie-folk band blends folk roots with a modern pop sound. As the headliner of the evening, they bring pure energy to the stage and ensure a rousing finale full of goosebump-inducing moments and good vibes.

Nordstadt together is jointly organized by many stakeholders, dedicated associations, institutions, and companies from Dortmund’s civic society, featuring activities and informational offerings. The event is presented by our media partner Radio 91.2. The Radio 91.2 hosts will be on-site live and will guide you through the program all day long.
