About the movie: Two young Brits want to get out of their monotonous small-town life. When they hear about "Northern Soul" - the best danceable Black American soul music - they plan a trip to America. There, John and Matt want to track down unknown records and go down in history as the best DJs. In the trendy clubs, they discover new beats, cool dance moves and hot clothes. But the downside of this life is rivalry, violence and drug abuse. Is their friendship strong enough?
