Today, we've come full circle.

On December 1, 2022, Betty’s Black Pearl embarked on its live music adventure—and who was the very first band to take the stage back then? NOTHING LEFT 2 LOSE.

Three and a half years, 249 concerts, and countless unforgettable evenings later, Angie & Chris are returning to the very place where it all began for us.

And it couldn’t be a more perfect way to come full circle: of all things, this reunion will also mark our 250th live concert at Betty’s Black Pearl. We couldn’t have asked for a more fitting setting for this anniversary.

With their program “Songs from Woodstock and Beyond,” Angie & Chris take you on a musical journey back to a time when love, peace, and rock ’n’ roll weren’t just words, but a way of life. And let’s be honest: The message from back then is more relevant today than ever— Make Love, Not War!

Although the two weren’t old enough to experience the legendary Summer of Love themselves, they’ve absorbed the sound and spirit of that era with every fiber of their being. That’s why they believe: It’s high time for a new Summer of Love.

Anyone who thinks two musicians can’t sound like a whole band will be proven wrong this evening. With two-part harmonies, various instruments, and a loop station, Angie & Chris create an impressively full sound. The best part: Not a single note is pre-recorded. Every note is created live on stage—authentic, handmade, and with plenty of heart and soul.

Musically, the journey through time spans from Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, and the Woodstock classics all the way to the ’90s and 2000s, featuring songs by 4 Non Blondes, Sandi Thom, and many other artists. Because true spirit knows no generations and has no expiration date.
