It's that time of year again: NRW's eloquence gathers to send the best poets into competition and be sprinkled with the crème de la crème of poetry slams. 💜 This year, the NRW Poetry Slam Championship will take place on 03.10.-04.10. at five different events at the Zakk and the Pitcher.
In the organizer's words:
Every year, the best slam poets in NRW compete for the title of NRW Poetry Slam Champion in a major competition. In 2024, we have the honor of hosting these championships in Düsseldorf.
There will be a total of five different events spread over two days on October 3 and 4. These consist of four preliminary rounds and a glamorous final, in which numerous, completely different but certainly great texts will be presented to the audience by the poets. As is customary in poetry slams, the audience will decide who takes home the title of NRW champion.
