After a decade of working together and three acclaimed albums, the vocal quartet Of Cabbages And Kings is one of the most innovative ensembles between jazz, creative music and contemporary vocal music. The four singers Laura Totenhagen, Veronika Morscher, Fama M'Boup and Lauren Kinsella combine individual expressiveness with a multi-layered ensemble sound.
With their new program Concurrency, the quartet explores the simultaneity of personal, social and global realities. A cappella compositions, movement in space and collective musical processes translate complexity into sound and create an intense concert experience. The result is a moving program that makes the challenges and connections of our present audible.
