What were the causes and extent of "Operation Gomorrah", the air raids on Hamburg in 1943, which destroyed large parts of the city in addition to the former main church of St. Nikolai? How did the people of Hamburg have to prepare for the air raids? And what is the board game in the exhibition actually about?

We are now offering open guided tours of the museum, where you can find out about these and many other topics relating to today's memorial and the museum. The tours are open to individuals and small groups and last approximately 30 minutes. Registration is not required.

The guided tours are free of charge. All you need is a valid admission ticket for the St. Nikolai Memorial.
