The Bouvier-Sauvage family can look back with pride on a long aristocratic line of ancestors. When the only daughter announces that she wants to marry the son of a simple Peugeot dealer, the family is less than pleased. When the future in-laws meet for the first time, it soon becomes clear that it is not just their different tastes in wine and cars that separate them, but entire worlds. To make matters worse, the bride and groom-to-be have commissioned DNA tests that reveal more about the ancestry of those present. Oh la la, now the mood threatens to tip completely over the edge, as the test results could bring down many a family tree and ruin the wedding.
