Chamber ballet evening in two parts

A highlight of this year's International Ballet and Dance Gala returns to the stage in a new and expanded version. The choreography "Old Land" by the two Italians Sasha Riva & Simone Repele opens the ballet season at the Staatstheater Augsburg together with Antonio Ruz' latest work "Grey Zone" (world premiere).

The internationally successful choreographer duo Riva & Repele will create an extended version of "Old Land" for Augsburg. Using the symbol of the journey, they deal with ageing, the passage of time, people's secret desires and their mortality.

Spanish choreographer Antonio Ruz will create the world premiere of "Grey Zone" with Ballett Augsburg: using the color grey, he metaphorically invites us to reflect on tolerance, compromise and dialogue in an increasingly polarized world through music, dance and text.
