Oliwia Hälterein liest aus ihrem Roman "Wir Töchter"
In the organizer's words:
Reading & talk
As part of the LIT.festival 2026, Oliwia Hälterlein will read from her debut novel Wir Töchter.
"We are maid, cook, wife, mother, daughter, sister." A novel that reads like a chorus of daughters begins with this We. Three women - grandmother, mother, granddaughter - their lives between a Polish village, departure, migration and a new life in Germany. Stories that have long remained at the kitchen table and are rarely found in books.
A reading about origin, language and passing on stories. Stories are more.
Oliwia Hälterlein, born 1986 in Bydgoszcz, is an author, dramaturge and presenter
