Sixteen years ago, a resistance group called “French 75” freed 200 detainees in a single operation from the clutches of the ruthless United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement—ICE for short. Afterward, the resistance fighters—including Bob Ferguson (Leonardo DiCaprio), known to everyone simply as “Ghetto Pat”—vanished from the scene. Today, Bob is driven by paranoia, as he fears that the former ICE colonel, Steven J. Lockjaw (Sean Penn), is still out to get him and is seeking revenge by trying to take his life. This concern doesn’t seem entirely unfounded, as Lockjaw has now completely lost his way and joined the racist “Christian Adventurer Club” militia—and he has set his sights on Bob’s daughter, Willa (Chase Infiniti). Together with his old comrades Sensei Segio (Benicio del Toro), Deandra (Regina Hall), and Perfidia Beverly Hills (Teyana Taylor), Bob sets out to confront the extremist colonel.
