"The future? It will only get worse. It's tied to climate change of course". Southern Galicia is home to the largest population of wild horses in Europe, which is dwindling due to climate change. In a fragile system, the animals have a direct influence on the spread of devastating forest fires that rage every year in the mountains of northern Spain. From the different perspectives of the people in the region and the horses, a calm but impressive film about everyday life and the close interweaving of different actors emerges.
