About: Immerse yourself in 'The Storyteller', a visionary arthouse film by Gráinne O'Carroll. Set in the contrasting locales of Cologne's developing Neuehrenfeld and Ireland's most westerly island Inis Óirr, this film is a captivating exploration of gesture and transformation. Witness a woman awaken into many characters, who dances through the realms of imagination, portrayed through the beautiful interplay of physical theater, sound, and light.

'The Storyteller' is a visual journey that transcends traditional storytelling, offering breathtaking landscapes from a rugged Irish island to a reinvented car factory - Wandelwerk - in Germany. Each scene is a mesmerizing tapestry of movement and emotion, inviting the viewer into a world where each gesture narrates a profound story.

This premiere event is not just a film screening but an experience, set in the picturesque 'Machbarschaft Petershof', another innovative space of urban transformation of Cologne. Surrounded by historic architecture and megalithic trees, the film unfolds on an indoor screen, in a beautiful former horse stables.
